Inland Empire Wolverines High School Hockey Program

The Inland Empire Wolverines High School Hockey program was established to bring the exciting opportunity of competitive high school hockey to student-athletes across multiple school districts in our region. As a proud member of the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League (ADHSHL), the Wolverines are committed to delivering a high-quality developmental path for players—from foundational development through advanced competitive play.

Our goal is to provide student-athletes with a structured environment to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and represent their communities with pride.


Eligibility & School Districts Served

The Wolverines program is open to high school-aged students (grades 9–12) from the following school districts:

  • Perris Union

  • Riverside Unified

  • Moreno Valley

  • Val Verde

  • Nuview Union

  • Romoland

  • Beaumont Unified

  • San Jacinto

  • Yucaipa-Calimesa

  • Lake Elsinore Unified

  • Menifee Union

  • Palm Springs Unified

If you attend or reside in a smaller or currently unrepresented district, please contact us for waiver and approval options.


Team Structure

We offer multiple tiers to accommodate players of various skill levels and competitive experience:

  • Varsity – For experienced players ready for top-level high school competition

  • Junior Varsity (JV) – Competitive team for developing players

  • Junior Varsity Development (JVD) – Introductory-level team designed for players new to organized hockey or transitioning from recreational play

  • Roster Size: 13–20 skaters and 1–2 goalies per team

  • Dual Roster Option: Players may be eligible to compete on both JV and Varsity teams (prior to roster lock), with an adjusted fee to cover additional ice time and games


Training & Facilities
  • Practice Facility: Riverside Icetown

  • Practice Schedule: 2 on-ice sessions per week

  • Program Duration: 24-week structured development and competition program

  • Game Venues: League games take place at various regional rinks – ADHSHL Game Rinks


Season Overview

The Wolverines season includes:

  • Weekly on-ice practices

  • League and exhibition games

  • Player development sessions

  • Team-building activities and coaching support
